with air-guns. ● 26 January: General agreement “On cooperation in
exploration, fields development and oil & gas production activities

Pacific Expedition made its first voyage to the World Ocean onboard
S/V “Poisk”. Geophysical party acquired 2 thousand running km of
integrated geophysical lines. ● Personnel training and probation in CGG
and Sercel due to application of new pulse-position navigation systems. ●
First contract was concluded with “Sudoimport” company and CGG for
carrying out marine exploration works with the usage of M/S “Orion
Arctic” in the scope of 10 thousand running km. ● First operations with

Personnel training and probation in «Control Date» (USA) and CGG
(France) for operation of CYBER-172 processing complex. ● New seismic
vessel “Iskatel” was built. ● Prospecting well # 1 (jack-up rig
“Borgsten Dolphin”) was drilled in the Odoptu-sea structure identified
by the company. As a result, the first major oil and gas condensate
field offshore the Sea of Okhotsk was discovered. |

Full technical re-equipment of the Pacific Expedition was completed.
Radio-navigation systems TORAN-P100 and SYLEDIS with high-accuracy
positioning capabilities were put into operation. ● French
navigation-geophysical complexes were installed and put into operation
onboard S/V “Poisk” and “Iskatel”: seismic stations – SN-338HR; sources –
VAPORCHOC and STARJET; radio-navigation systems “JIN” completed with
RGS SYLEDIS. ● Re-equipment of the Processing Center: CYBER-172, RDS-500
and TNR-95. Sharp increase in both the efficiency of CDP data
processing (up to 50 thousand km) and the information capacity of
processing results. Offshore data acquired almost in all seas of the
USSR as well as onshore data acquired in Sakhalin, Kamchatka, Chukotka
and Primorie were processed. |

Pacific Expedition took part in the works on coordination and
deployment of jack-up rigs “Hakuri-IV” and “Hakuri-ll” at the drilling
locations in Odoptu, Chaivo and Dagi structures. ● In summer, well #1 in
Chaivo gas-and-oil field produced commercial oil flow. ● March. Pacific
